The RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of SEND needs. Your primary focus will be with KS2 pupils, ensuring each child receives the individual support they need to thrive academically and socially.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND in KS2 Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities to meet individual needs Help implement and support Individual Education Plans Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, and self-esteem Support pupils with physical, emotional, and behavioural needs Work closely with the teacher to assess progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Liaise with parents and staff to ensure continuity of care and learning Skills and QualificationsEssential: Experience supporting pupils with SEND (within the last 2 years) Understanding of how SEND impacts learning, particularly in EYFS and KS1 Strong communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs A relevant Level ..... full job details .....
