SEND Teaching Assistant

Aspire People are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within KS2 in a welcoming and inclusive primary school.The school is looking for a committed and experienced TA to join them on a long-term basis from September, with the option to attend trial days or begin working before the summer holidays.You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties, helping them to stay engaged, build confidence, and make academic progress.The Role: Supporting pupils with additional needs within a KS2 classroom Assisting with differentiated Maths and English work Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation Helping pupils develop independence and confidence Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progressThe Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working with SEND or SEMH needs Confident supporting KS2 pupils Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills Adaptable and resilient approach Committed to long-term support and consistencyWhy Apply: Long-term opportunity with consistency Opportunity to build relationships before September Supportive school with strong SEND provision Dedicated consultant supportAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
