SEND TEACHING ASSISTANTS - ST HELENS

We''re currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for schools, specialist provisions and SEND settings across St Helens and the surrounding areas, with opportunities available for immediate starts.

Whether you''re an experienced SEND TA or looking to take your first step into specialist education, we want to hear from you.

WHAT COULD YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

You could be supporting children and young people with:

* Autism (ASC)
* ADHD
* SEMH
* MLD, SLD & PMLD
* Speech, language and communication needs
* Sensory or physical needs
* Complex and additional learning needs

Depending on the setting, you could be providing 1:1 support, working with small groups, supporting communication and sensory development, helping with classroom learning, or developing essential life skills and independence.

Every pupil is different, so no two days are the same.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

SEND experience is fantastic, but it isn''t essential.

Your experience could come from:

* Education or childcare
* Care or support work
* Residential settings
* Youth work
* Supporting vulnerable children or young people
* Other roles where you have supported individuals with additional needs

We''re looking for people who are patient, calm, adaptable and genuinely passionate about helping young people thrive.


THE ROLE

-14+ per hour
Monday to Friday
8:30am - 3:30pm
St Helens and surrounding areas
Primary, secondary, college and specialist settings
Full-time and part-time opportunities
Immediate starts
Long-term and temp-to-perm positions
Free SEND-specific CPD and training
Dedicated education consultant
