SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join a school specializing in complex learning difficulties in Wirral as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a long-term position. The school focuses on the development and learning of children and young people with PMLD, including speech and sensory difficulties.

This role would be ideal for anyone with a passion for supporting the development of children, as well as those with previous experience and knowledge of managing complex needs.

Job Details

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Assist the teacher in planning personalised and engaging learning experiences.
• Supporting students with SEND
• Communicating effectively with teachers

Ideal Candidate

• Strong communication skills
• Previous teaching experience or experience in working with children
• Knowledge about PMLD
• Ability to support the teacher in classroom preparation and delivery
