Teaching Assistant - SEND School (Complex Needs)Location: RM3Start Date: September 2026Daily Rate: £90 - £120 (dependant on experience)Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs SchoolWe are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in RM3 from September. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex SEND needs.Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development.Help implement individual education plans (EHCP targets) and behaviour support strategies.Assist with personal care where required.Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence throughout the school day.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents, and other professionals.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly complex needs.A patient, caring, and positive approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.A willingness to support personal care needs where necessary.Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.If this sounds like you please send your CV to ..... full job details .....
