TimePlan Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school located near Ely. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils across all age groups with a range of additional needs.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences that help every student achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
The Role:
- Teaching students across a range of age groups and abilities
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
- Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including ASD, SEMH, MLD, and complex needs
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience working within a SEND setting
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
