About the Role:
TeacherActive is working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Benfleet to recruit a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access learning in a way that suits their individual needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEND

• Support students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties

• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals

• Contribute to EHCP planning, reviews, and target setting

• Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience working with SEND pupils (preferred but not essential)

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach

• Commitment to supporting the individual needs of every learner
