Job Title: SEND Teacher / Primary Teacher Location: Oxford Start Date: January 2027, Full Time hours Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN 1 plus Regional Allowance £1000 per annum Do you have experience supporting young people with additional needs? Do you hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK? Are you a teacher with experience across the Early Years or Primary Curriculum? TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND school for complex needs in Oxford. We are looking for Class Teacher who has experience within SEND schools or roles. This is an exciting role, and a chance to be part of something special, changing the lives of vulnerable young people, whilst working in a beautiful setting, with a huge outdoor space for exploration through the senses and play. The schools boasts numerous sensory rooms, and works with the students to enable their communication and sense of individuality, where you will support in giving them a voice.You will report to the Assistant or Deputy Principal, based in the 6th form class primarily, (ages 16-19), however due to the complex needs of the young people (ASD, Non-Verbal) you will be working within the Early Years framework, due to their cognition and learning ages. A teacher with experience of delivering a Primary or EYFS curriculum is ideal, or a Secondary Teacher with experience of working with a disabiity cohort.
