SEND Teacher

Job Title: SEND Teacher / SEMH Teacher Location:Stoke-On-Trent Start Date: ASAP Salary: £170 - £210 per day Do you have experience teaching in the UK? Do you hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK? Do you have experience working with children and young people with additional needs / SEMH needs TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND school for SEMH students in Stoke. We are looking for SEND Teacher who has experience within SEND schools or SEMH roles. This is an exciting role, and a chance to be part of something special, changing the lives of vulnerable young people, whilst working in a beautiful setting, with a huge outdoor space for exploration through the senses and play. The schools boasts numerous sensory rooms, and works with the students to enable their communication and sense of individuality, where you will support in giving them a voice.You will report to the Assistant or Deputy Principal, and work with vulnerable children and young people. The main aim of the role is to ensure the students remain engaged in learning, and support in delivering the bespoke curriculum the school has. You will be adaptable, nurturing and patient in your approach, with strenghts in classroom management and de-escalation. You will be required to hold QTS in the UK (ECTs also welcome to apply).
