Salary: £160 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming SEND school in Trafford. The school supports children with a range of additional needs including PMLD, Autism / ASD and Severe Learning Difficulties / SLD, with a friendly and supportive Senior Leadership Team.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher from the end of January 2027 to work Monday to Wednesday on a long-term maternity cover basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons while creating a safe, supportive learning environment that meets the individual needs of pupils with PMLD and other complex needs.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

· QTS
· Experience working with children and young people with PMLD
· Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD, SLD or other additional needs
· Strong knowledge of adapting and differentiating learning for pupils with complex needs
· Excellent classroom management and communication skills
· A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
