Forest School Teacher Location: London Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience Contract: Full Time / Term Time (plus INSET days) We are seeking a dedicated Forest School Leader to lead safe, engaging, and inspiring sessions for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves providing high-quality outdoor learning experiences that promote confidence, independence, wellbeing, and practical life skills. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and deliver engaging Forest School sessions using the school''s established outdoor learning programme. Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive outdoor learning environment. Promote confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence through outdoor experiences. Support pupils in developing communication, emotional regulation, and practical life skills through meaningful activities. Encourage curiosity, exploration, and respect for the natural environment. Work closely with class teachers to understand pupils'' individual needs and learning objectives. Provide verbal and written feedback following Forest School sessions. Carry out daily safety checks of the Forest School site and ensure the safe use of tools, fires, and outdoor equipment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Level 3 Forest School Leader Qualification.
