SEND Teacher Annual Salary: £180 - £260 per dayLocation: LondonJob Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team, working full-time with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of students requiring special educational support. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons that cater to the individual needs of SEMH students.Create a supportive and understanding classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.Implement behavioural management strategies that are effective for students with SEMH.Collaborate with other professionals such as therapists and counsellors to support the holistic development of students.Regularly assess and record students'' progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their evolving needs.Engage with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies to support learning at home. Required Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working in a SEND setting, particularly with SEMH students.Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage and support SEMH students effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to teaching.
