SEND Teacher PE Specialism Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Contract: Permanent, Term Time Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to notice period Hours: Monday Friday 40 hours Salary: Up to £46,519 pa, dependent on experience LTE Search is supporting a small specialist school in High Wycombe to appoint a PE specialist to join its teaching team. The school supports young people aged , with up to around 36 pupils across the provision. Pupils have a range of additional needs, with the majority presenting with SEMH and ASC. The environment is highly individualised, with a strong emphasis on relationships, engagement, emotional regulation and preparing young people to make positive progress. This is an opportunity for a PE teacher who wants to use their subject to make a broader difference while also contributing to the development of the school''s wider curriculum. The Role You will plan and deliver PE across the school, adapting lessons and activities to the needs, abilities and interests of individual pupils. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to the wider development of the curriculum and take responsibility for ensuring PE provision is purposeful, engaging and appropriately challenging. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering high-quality PE across the age range. Developing differentiated schemes of work and learning activities.
