Job Title: SEND TeacherLocation: BristolContract Type: Full-time, Term Time OnlyStart Date: ASAPAre you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher looking to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment? We are seeking a dedicated teacher to join a specialist team supporting children and young people with Autism (ASD) and complex learning needs.About the Role:Teach a small class of pupils with a range of needs, including ASD and complex communication difficulties.Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities.Foster independence, communication, and social interaction through creative and sensory-based learning.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support holistic development.Promote a positive, safe, and structured environment where all pupils can thrive.About You:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is essential.Experience teaching pupils with ASD, PMLD, or complex needs in a special or mainstream setting.Understanding of alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, or visual supports (training can be provided).Passionate about inclusive education and supporting every learner to achieve their potential.Patient, creative, and resilient with excellent teamwork and communication skills.What We Offer:Supportive and collaborative staff team.Excellent CPD and professional growth opportunities.Rewarding work that makes a real difference every day.Competitive pay ..... full job details .....
