This full-time role involves leading a small primary-aged class of pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex needs, and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).The successful candidate will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and provide a structured, nurturing environment to support pupils who require an alternative approach to mainstream education.Candidate RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have prior experience working as an SEND Teacher, along with a strong understanding of the UK SEND and Alternative Provision curriculum.Essential criteria:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - SEND experience essentialExcellent knowledge of the UK SEND and Alternative Provision education systemExperience supporting children with ASD, complex needs, and challenging behaviourA minimum of 12 months'' experience working within Special Educational NeedsSafeguarding Level 1 trainingEnhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)A caring, patient, and nurturing approachA strong commitment to supporting pupils with additional needsThe SettingThis primary school supports pupils within their classrooms with a wide range ..... full job details .....
