Job Description

ANZUK Education is seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher for a permanent, full-time role at a leading grammar school in Gloucestershire. Key Responsibilities of an SEND Teacher

• Identify and assess individual SEND needs across Key Stages
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs
• Deliver differentiated lessons, interventions, and one-to-one support
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external agencies
• Track and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
• Attend review meetings and contribute to the wider SEND strategy within the school

Requirements of an SEND Teacher 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (UK or international recognised)
• Proven experience supporting students with SEND
• Up-to-date knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and SEND legislation
• Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills
• Passion for student success, with a commitment to CPD and professional growth
