Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting on a Temp-to-Perm basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have a range of complex and severe learning needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning and reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)Support students with severe and complex needs, including:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)ADHDPhysical disabilitiesProfound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)Assist with personal care duties where required, ensuring dignity, respect, and safeguarding are maintained at all timesSupport pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social developmentWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff to deliver personalised learning and care plansCreate a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all learnersThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in education, care, or support settingsKnowledge or experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and/or PMLDA patient, empathetic, ..... full job details .....
