SEND Teaching Assistant (SEMH) - Specialist SEND School - PeckhamJob Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Bromley BR1 Start Date: September 2026Hours: Full-Time, Term Time OnlySalary: £95-£120 per day (depending on experience)About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Bromley from September. This role involves supporting pupils with Social, emotional, mental health, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication difficulties, sensory needs, and challenging behaviour.The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual targets in a safe and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex SEND needs.Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and personal development.Assist with behaviour management strategies and sensory interventions.Support pupils with personal care requirements where necessary.Work alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored learning programmes.Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.Monitor and record pupil progress and achievements.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience working with children or adults with complex needs, SEND, autism, learning disabilities, or challenging ..... full job details .....
