The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Support Worker / Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in SEND, care, support work, healthcare, youth work or education, as well as individuals looking to transfer their skills into a school environment.The Role As a SEND Support Worker / Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils access learning and make progress academically, socially and emotionally.Your responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Helping pupils engage with lessons and classroom activities Supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities Encouraging communication, independence and confidence Supporting pupils with their emotional regulation and behaviour Assisting with personal care where required Helping pupils during transitions, break times and lunchtimes Following individual support plans and guidance ..... full job details .....
