Primary and Secondary SEND Subject Tutors - SomersetMaths English Science Primary September 2026 OpportunitiesQuantum Scholars is preparing for a significant increase in EOTAS and Alternative Provision referrals across Somerset from September 2026 and is looking to recruit experienced Primary and Secondary SEND Subject Tutors.Working with learners referred through Somerset Council''s Alternative Provision arrangements, we are seeking tutors who can deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education.We are particularly keen to hear from tutors and qualified teachers with experience in:Primary (KS1 and KS2)EnglishMathematicsScienceMany of the learners we support have needs relating to SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, medical conditions, behavioural challenges, or EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance). The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs is therefore essential.This opportunity may also suit classroom teachers looking to move away from mainstream education, supply teachers seeking greater flexibility, or experienced tutors wanting to make a genuine difference through personalised 1:1 teaching.Support is delivered on a 1:1 basis with both primary and secondary-aged pupils (up to 16 years old).
