SEND Specialist Tutor - Coxhoe Salary: Up to GBP30 per hour Contract Type: Temporary / Flexible Hours: Part-time and full-time hours available Start Date: ASAP About the Role: Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with local councils, SEND teams, and schools across the UK. Due to high demand, we are recruiting experienced and passionate SEND Specialist Tutors to deliver one-to-one and small group tuition for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Coxhoe area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable young people outside of a traditional school setting-helping them regain confidence, structure, and continuity in their education. The Opportunity: As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will: Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 or small group sessions tailored to each students needs. Support students with SEND, including those with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Learning Delay (GLD), and SEMH/challenging behaviours. Provide academic support, help develop life skills, and promote independence. Work in settings such as the students home, libraries, or community learning hubs. Play a crucial role in reintroducing structure and routine for young people awaiting suitable school placements. Collaborate closely with Prospero''s tuition team through weekly reporting and progress monitoring.
