SEND Specialist Tutor Job - 1:1, ExmouthProspero Teaching is looking for SEND Specialist Tutors to deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to young people with SEND that cannot currently access mainstream education.Responsibilities

Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupil''s education and boost attainment levels.Support and re-engage a pupil in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine, continue their educational development and support reintegration into school.Monitor progression with each pupil through weekly reports as part of ongoing oversight.Contract/Position Details

Location: Various locations across ExmouthPosition: SEND Specialist TutorType of work: ContractStart date: ASAPDuration: Until the pupil is able to reintegrate into a mainstream/special schoolContract type: TemporaryFull-time/part-time: Part time (minimum 6 hours per week, per student)Minimum rate of pay: £27-£30 per hourHours: Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the familyExperience, Training and Qualifications

QTS or equivalentPossess UK classroom teaching experienceBe creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxHave experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupilsEligibility
