Salary: £150 to £190 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with fantastic SEND provisions in Bradford, supporting children and young people aged 2 to 19 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). These settings are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where every learner is encouraged to develop independence, communication and life skills through a personalised approach to learning.

These settings are looking to appoint dedicated SEND Specialist Teachers on a contract basis from September. The successful SEND Specialist Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, working closely with support staff and therapists, and ensuring every pupil receives the highest standard of education and care tailored to their individual needs.

The successful SEND Specialist Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching children and young people with SEND, particularly PMLD and complex needs
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learning needs
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
