Job Title: Senior EHC Coordinator - SENDLocation: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead Starting salary: £42,839 to £47,181 per annumContract: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per weekAbout the role We''re looking for experienced and motivated Senior EHC Coordinator to join our School Age Statutory SEND Service based in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead.This position specialises in holding a caseload, with a particular focus on special school cases. You''ll model excellence in casework practice, champion person-centred approaches, and ensure strong communication with families, schools, and partners.You''ll champion person-centred practice, strong communication, and high-quality EHC plans, ensuring statutory timescales and performance standards are met. You''ll provide supervision, oversee induction and training, and build positive relationships with families, schools, and partners. Hold a specialist caseload, including children and young people placed in special school settingsOversee the quality and timeliness of EHC plan review paperwork. Lead statutory SEND casework within a defined locality. Build strong locality-based relationships with education settings and partners. Provide day-to-day line management to EHC Coordinators and Review Officers. Formal supervision and staff development (PMDS). Induction, training, and ongoing professional development for staff.
