The successful tutor will have strong Science subject knowledge and experience supporting secondary-aged learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs. You will be confident adapting your teaching style, pace and resources to meet individual learning needs, while creating a calm and positive environment where the learner can build confidence and engage with Science. Experience supporting young people with anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement or challenging behaviour would be highly desirable. This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work. The role may involve: Providing personalised one-to-one Science tuition to a secondary-aged learner. Supporting the learner across the Secondary Science curriculum, including GCSE where appropriate.
