About the Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote progress in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Foster a calm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel safe, valued, and supported
• Collaborate closely with your year group team to share ideas, resources, and effective teaching strategies
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to celebrate successes and address any concerns
• Play an active role in the wider school community, contributing to assemblies, enrichment opportunities, and curriculum development

The ideal candidate will:

• A qualified teacher (QTS required) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
• A calm and consistent presence in the classroom, capable of fostering a safe and engaging learning environment
• Strong knowledge of early reading, phonics, writing, and mathematics
• Believes that positive relationships, clear routines, and kindness form the foundation of effective teaching
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to contributing to the wider school community
