Supply Desk is seeking aandnbsp;SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in the Slough area. The school is well regarded for its inclusive approach and dedication to supporting children with a range of needs through creative, engaging, and tailored learning experiences that promote every childandrsquo;s success.
About the Role:
- Teach a small class of approximately 8 pupils with additional learning and physical needs
- Deliver a tailored curriculum including Maths, English, Phonics, as well as social and life skills
- Support each child in working towards their personalised academic and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) goals
- Full-time role with the potential for a permanent contract
- Job share considered (3andndash;4 days per week)
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Proven experience working with children with SEND (required)
- Solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Skilled in effective behaviour management and maintaining a positive classroom environment
- Resilient, empathetic, and highly motivated
- Experience delivering targeted interventions is an advantage
