SEND Operational Lead - HackneyRate: £347.67 per dayLocation: HackneyWorking Pattern: Full timeWorking Arrangement: HybridPertemps is recruiting for an experienced SEND Operational Lead to join a Local Authority in Hackney on a full-time, hybrid basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior SEND professional to lead on the delivery of statutory SEND services, ensuring the Local Authority meets its responsibilities under the Children and Families Act 2014 and associated legislation. The successful candidate will oversee the EHCP process, specialist provision and placements funded through the High Needs Block, while working collaboratively with families, schools, health partners and wider stakeholders to deliver effective SEND services.Key Responsibilities:Ensure Hackney Council fulfils its statutory responsibilities in relation to SEND and the Children and Families Act 2014Lead and manage the Education, Health and Care (EHC) process, ensuring statutory compliance and high-quality service deliveryOversee specialist provision and placements funded through the High Needs BlockWork in partnership with parents/carers, young people, education, health and care services, commissioners and information servicesSupport the integrated and joint delivery of statutory SEND processes, provision, duties and servicesDrive effective systems and processes to ensure efficient delivery across the SEND serviceProvide senior operational leadership across complex SEND service areasBuild strong ..... full job details .....
