The successful tutor will have strong Maths subject knowledge and experience supporting learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs. You will be confident adapting your teaching style, pace and resources to meet individual learning needs, while creating a calm and positive environment where the learner can build confidence and engage with Maths. Experience supporting young people who have experienced barriers to mainstream education, anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement or challenging behaviour would be highly desirable. This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work. The role may involve: Providing personalised one-to-one Maths tuition to a secondary-aged learner.
