SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Greenwich Location: Greenwich Role: SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA)Contract: Full-time / Part-time opportunities availableAgency: Remedy Start Date: ASAP / OngoingAre you a patient, enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?Remedy is currently recruiting SEND Learning Support Assistants to work within schools and specialist education settings across Greenwich and the surrounding areas.The RoleAs a SEND LSA, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, social and emotional needs, and physical disabilities.Your responsibilities may include:Providing 1:1 and small-group supportSupporting pupils with their learning and engagement in the classroomHelping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skillsSupporting individual education and behaviour plansWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staffProviding a calm, positive and nurturing learning environmentSupporting pupils with challenging behaviour where requiredThe Ideal CandidateWe would love to hear from you if you:Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SENDAre patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupilsHave a genuine passion for supporting children with additional ..... full job details .....
