SEND Learning Support Assistant Special School North Bradford PK Education are working with a generic special school in the North of Bradford, who are looking for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. You will be working with Special school age students that are Non-verbal and Pre-verbal. As you can imagine the role can be quite challenging and requires someone with experience working with students with special educational needs in a special school or similar setting. to work on a temporary, full time, term time only basis.If you would like further information about this role, please contact me on: (phone number removed) or email (url removed)Job Spec: Support the teacher as a SEND Teaching assistant and the SEND students within the class, ensuring the needs of the students met at all times.Must have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs from early year s foundation.Be prepared to get involved.Build trusted relationships with the students.Provide a nurturing approach to understand the student s abilities and frustrations to create a positive outcome in their learning. Job Spec: Must have minimum Level two teaching assistant or equivalent.It would be an advantage if you have GNVQ level 2 Health and Social care, SEND Diploma or equivalent.
