SEND, Equality and Exclusions Governance SpecialistSEND, Equality and Exclusions Governance SpecialistLocation: Manchester (with travel across Trust schools) Contract: Permanent Salary: £45,858.62 - £49,713.85 (FTE £50,269 - £54,495) Term Time Only + 15 daysWe are looking for a skilled specialist to support our Trust in delivering fair, inclusive and legally compliant practice across exclusions, SEND, and equality.Working closely with school and Trust leaders, you will provide expert advice, attend panels and reviews, and help ensure decision-making is robust, consistent, and centred on the best outcomes for pupils.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert guidance on exclusions, including panels and review processes.Support schools to meet requirements under the SEND Code of Practice and promote inclusive practice.Advise on Equality Act duties and help reduce disparities for vulnerable groups.Support handling of complex complaints, particularly where exclusions or SEND are involved.Attend governing and Trust meetings, offering assurance and challenge where needed.Review and develop policies to ensure compliance and consistency across the Trust.About YouExperience in education governance / exclusions / SEND within a school, Trust, or local authority.Strong knowledge of exclusions guidance, SEND, equality, and complaints processes.Confident advising leaders and applying legislation in practice.Able to build strong relationships across multiple schools.Why Join Us?Be part of a Trust ..... full job details .....
