TeacherActive is working in partnership with a highly respected independent SEN school on the outskirts of Southampton to recruit an English Teacher who is dedicated, flexible, and ready to join a caring and committed team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small, nurturing school with excellent facilities. The provision is tailored for students with ASD, attachment difficulties, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviours, and offers extremely small class sizes and a high staff-to-student ratio.Role Details: Planning and delivering engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculumSupporting students with a range of SEN, including emotional and behavioural needsWorking closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a bespoke educational experienceUsing Team Teach strategies to support students when necessary (training provided)Encouraging motivation, independence and confidence in all learners What We re Looking For: QTS or equivalent with proven teaching experienceA genuine interest in working within an SEN settingStrong communication skills and a calm, adaptable approachPassion for improving outcomes for vulnerable and at-risk learnersA reflective practitioner committed to professional growthFull UK driving licence ..... full job details .....
