SEND English Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND English Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the SE9 area.

• Deliver engaging English lessons to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Support pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education
• Plan, prepare and assess work tailored to individual learning needs
• Create a positive, structured and supportive learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience
• Experience working with SEND and/or PRU settings
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient and committed to making a difference
