English Teacher - Specialist Education Location: ManchesterSalary: £42,000 - £47,000 per annumStart: ASAPContract: Full-time Permanent Are you an experienced English Teacher looking for a new opportunity within specialist education? We are recruiting for an English Teacher to join a specialist education organisation supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs. The Role Plan and deliver engaging English lessons. Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs. Support learners working across a range of abilities. Monitor, assess and track progress. Support learners to achieve their English qualifications. Build positive relationships and promote engagement. Support positive behaviour, attendance and participation. Work collaboratively with colleagues and specialist support staff. Help learners develop confidence, communication and progression skills. About You Strong English subject knowledge. Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or DET. Experience teaching English, ideally GCSE and/or Functional Skills. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Able to differentiate effectively for individual needs. Passionate, resilient and learner-focused. Experience working with SEND, SEMH, alternative provision or specialist education would be advantageous but is not essential. Why Apply?
