SEND EHCP Officer Location: Lancashire Grade: 8 Sector: Children s Services / SEND SEND EHCP Officer Make a Real Difference We Do Social Work Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND EHCP Officer to join a dedicated SEND team in Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and who can confidently manage the EHCP process from assessment through to review. You will work closely with children, young people, families, schools and professionals across education, health and care to ensure that EHCPs are person-centred, outcome-focused and reflect the individual needs, views and aspirations of each child or young person. The Role As a SEND EHCP Officer, you will manage an allocated caseload across a number of educational settings, taking responsibility for the end-to-end EHCP process. Your responsibilities will include: Managing assessments, EHCP plan writing, reviews, reassessments and consultations. Producing high-quality, person-centred EHCPs that clearly identify needs, outcomes and required provision. Working directly with children, young people and families to ensure their views, wishes and aspirations are central to planning.
