Some of the children also have additional needs with their communication and social abilities. The school is based in Weston-super-Mare.The successful candidate will have classroom teaching experience and a developed understanding of autism-friendly teaching methods. You will be eager to develop your pedagogy by learning more about ASD. Teaching materials and resources are provided. However, the school encourage individuality, therefore you are welcome to adapt learning materials to make your lessons outstanding.The person chosen for this role may have previously been a primary/ secondary / FE teacher.
