About the Role:

• Provide high-quality, tailored teaching to pupils with diverse and complex SEND needs
• Use assessments and EHCP targets to inform planning and monitor meaningful progress
• Lead the classroom team, ensuring effective deployment of teaching assistants
• Work collaboratively with internal staff and external specialists to support integrated therapy and development plans
• Maintain regular communication with parents and carers, celebrating successes and addressing any concerns

The ideal candidate will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching pupils with SEND, preferably within a special school environment
• Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum, with the ability to adapt content to meet a wide range of learning needs
• A strong commitment to inclusive education and a belief in the potential of every child to achieve
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, support, and motivate colleagues
• Proficient ICT skills and a creative, flexible approach to curriculum delivery
