SEND Casework OfficersA Local Authority in the West Midlands is looking for several SEND Casework Officers.Rate: £270 per dayHours: Full-time, fully remoteContract: 3-6 months (with likely extension)Start: ASAPRole Overview:The SEND Casework Team supports over 4,600 children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities to achieve positive educational outcomes.This role involves working closely with families and multi-agency professionals to coordinate, develop, implement, and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate EHCP processes in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of PracticeProduce high-quality EHCPs, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and outcomes-focusedPrepare for and attend meetings related to the EHCP process, including annual reviewsLiaise effectively with parents/carers, schools, and multi-agency professionalsBuild and maintain strong, positive relationships with key stakeholdersMonitor and review EHCPs, making amendments where requiredSupport children and young people to achieve positive outcomes and transition successfully between education phasesIf you are interested please reach out to me on or call me on ..... full job details .....
