      <description>Location: Dudley | Salary: &amp;pound;250 - &amp;pound;251/day | Type: Temporary | Job Title: SEND Case Officer    Location: Dudley , Remote    Rate: -250 per day (Umbrella)    Duration: 6 Months       Purpose    Taking an active role in all aspects of casework for pupils undergoing, or who may undergo, a Statutory Assessment and with Statements of Special Educational Needs/Education Health and Care Plans and ensuring adherence to the statutory timescales required.    Specific Accountabilities   These will include:   Liaison with colleagues from a range of agencies on matters relating to special educational needs and the needs of individual pupils.  Managing casework throughout the statutory assessment process from first referral to the completion of the process.  Writing Education Health and Care Plans.  Amending existing EHCPs as required.  Contribution to panel decisions on provision and placement.  Preparing reports /papers for a range of panels as required.  Attending Annual, Interim and emergency Reviews.  Working in partnership with parents, children and young people, and schools to ensure pupils needs are met appropriately including those pupils at risk of exclusion.
