Send Assistant Coordinator

Opus People Solutions are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-focused SEND Assistant Coordinator to join our team. This role supports the effective delivery of Annual Reviews and the ongoing development of Education, Health and Care Plans for children and young people.Key ResponsibilitiesTriage Annual Review submissions:Review incoming Annual Review documentation, assess required actions, and follow the triage process. Full training provided.Coordinate Annual Reviews for specific cohorts:Organise and oversee Annual Reviews for CYP who are electively home educated or receiving an Education Other Than At School package. Training will be provided.Monitor and follow up outstanding reviews:Proactively contact educational settings to request and chase overdue Annual Review reports.Amend and issue EHCPs:Update EHCPs in line with Annual Review outcomes and issue amended plans within statutory timescales.If you thrive to make a difference and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
