Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming primary school in Sefton. This role involves providing 1:1 support for a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring they can access learning and thrive in the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND TA, EYFS Teaching Assistant or Primary Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEND).

Support learning, behaviour, and social development within EYFS.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver effective support strategies.

Promote inclusion and create a positive, nurturing environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a SEND TA / Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Support Assistant (EYFS experience desirable).

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Two professional references covering the last 2 years.
