SENCO (Maternity Cover) - BlackpoolStart Date: January 2026 Full-Time (Split Timetable) Competitive PaySpencer Clarke Group are proud to be supporting a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Blackpool who are seeking a passionate SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to cover a maternity leave from January 2026.This is a split timetable role, combining 3-4 days per week teaching within the school''s SEN class and 1-2 days per week allocated to SENCO duties. The ideal balance between hands-on classroom impact and strategic SEND leadership.The RoleLead and coordinate provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.Maintain and manage EHCP processes, interventions, and personalised learning plans.Teach a small, well-supported SEN class (3-4 days per week) providing engaging, differentiated lessons.Oversee and support Teaching Assistants and classroom staff in inclusive practice.Contribute to the wider school community, promoting a culture of inclusion and achievement for all.About YouQualified Teacher Status (QTS) - SENCO qualification preferred (or willing to work towards it).Experience supporting children with a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.A reflective, proactive ..... full job details .....
