As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join their team.This is a key role for a motivated practitioner who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping staff deliver inclusive, high-quality learning opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Lead the identification, planning, and support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted support strategiesWork closely with parents, carers, external professionals, and agencies to ensure coordinated care and early interventionGuide and support colleagues in implementing inclusive practicesMonitor children''s progress and ensure accurate documentation and records are maintainedContribute to and deliver staff training related to SEND and inclusionEnsure compliance with current SEND legislation and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Essential Requirements:Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Childcare/Early YearsSubstantial experience supporting children with SEND in an early years settingStrong working knowledge of:Education, Health and Care Plans ..... full job details .....
