Your primary brief is the development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision across the school, sharing inspiration and strategies to create a whole of school approach to ensuring the children and young adults you support are able to reduce barriers to learning, build confidence, gain social awareness and enjoy learning.Part of your role will be to work with the SLT, colleagues, parents, carers and third party agencies to ensure that every connection with a child has value and impact.You will help with direction, supporting staff, coordinating interventions, and making sure pupils with additional needs receive effective and well-planned support across the school.The Candidate:We are looking for a qualified SENCO, experienced leader with a strong understanding of inclusive practice, and the day-to-day realities of a SEN provision.
