Salary: £150 - £280 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Canvey Island. The school promotes a nurturing and supportive environment, with a strong focus on inclusion and ensuring all pupils are able to achieve their full potential.

The school is seeking a proactive SENCO on a full-time or part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful SENCO will lead SEND provision across the school, supporting pupils with needs including ASD, ADHD and behavioural challenges, while working closely with staff, parents and external agencies.

The successful SENCO will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• The National Award for SEN Coordination or willingness to work towards it
• Proven experience supporting children with SEND
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, EHCP processes and pupil wellbeing
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, flexible and compassionate approach
