SENCO January 2027 M1-6, UPS1-3 + TLR 2c (Outer London) SENCO required for January 2027 - exciting leadership opportunity in a rapidly improving secondary school A highly regarded secondary school in Outer London is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate SENCO to lead and develop its SEND provision from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified SENCO, or an experienced teacher willing to undertake the SENCO qualification, to take a key strategic role within a school that is committed to improving outcomes and ensuring that every student receives the support and opportunities they need to succeed. The Role As SENCO, you will take a lead role in the development and coordination of SEND provision across the school. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, pastoral colleagues, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure students with SEND receive high-quality, effective and personalised support. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing high-quality SEND provision across the school. Promoting inclusive teaching and learning and ensuring the needs of students with SEND are effectively met. Leading the development of differentiated and personalised learning. Coordinating the effective deployment and support of Teaching Assistants. Ensuring statutory responsibilities relating to EHCPs and SEND provision are fulfilled.
