The Role:
As the SENCO, you will:
- Lead and manage the schoolandrsquo;s SEND provision, ensuring all pupils receive the support they need to thrive.
- Coordinate and monitor interventions for children with additional needs, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Oversee and manage EHCPs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to teaching staff, promoting best practices in inclusive education.
This is a pivotal role within the school, offering the opportunity to work as part of the senior leadership team to drive the schoolandrsquo;s commitment to inclusivity and excellence.
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with SENCO accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
- Proven experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders.
