The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all students receive the support, opportunities and high-quality education they need to thrive.Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff, families, external professionals and students, you will provide strategic leadership for SEND across the school and ensure that effective systems and interventions are in place.The Role As SENCO, you will: Lead and develop the school''s SEND provision in line with current legislation and best practice.Oversee the identification, assessment and monitoring of students with additional needs.Work closely with teachers to ensure appropriate differentiation, reasonable adjustments and effective classroom strategies are embedded.Coordinate EHCP processes, annual reviews and liaison with the Local Authority.Manage and support the SEND team, including teaching assistants and other specialist staff.Work collaboratively with parents, carers and external agencies to secure the best possible outcomes for students.Monitor the progress, attainment and wellbeing of ..... full job details .....
