About the RoleAs SENCO, you will:Lead and manage SEND provision across the school, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to develop and implement effective strategies for children with additional needs.Oversee Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensure all statutory requirements are met.Provide support, training, and guidance to teaching staff to promote inclusive practices throughout the school.Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and evaluate the school''s SEND policy and ensure it aligns with the school''s vision.which provides for pupils with autism and severe learning disabilities and / or significant social and emotional difficulties.They will need to work effectively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and wider school teams to demonstrate and articulate the school vision and values in day-to-day practice.
